I work on coding projects in my spare time, when I'm not watching Manchester United or playing games on my XBox One. I dabble in a lot of different technologies, but I'm a .NET enthusiast at heart. ICT Executive

August 2023 - Present

Metro Namibia

Overseeing the Information and Communication Technology strategies and operations. This includes managing the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring data security, and optimizing IT infrastructure to support the company's fast-paced consumer goods business.

Corporate Services Executive

August 2021 - June 2023

Metro Namibia

Corporate services entails activities that combine or consolidate certain enterprise-wide needed support services, provided based on specialized knowledge, best practices, and technology to serve internal (and sometimes external) customers and business partners.

Business Analyst

November 2016 - August 2021

Metro Namibia

Responsible for ERP Migration Project, preparing and analysing reports and assist with any IT related and system software related issues.

Accounts Payable Manager

August 2015 - October 2016

Metro Namibia

Managing the accounts payable department, communicate with key suppliers and assist with their queries. Ensure that all necessary documentation is uploaded to the document storage and report on rebates and advertising discounts.

Review and supervise all creditors clerks. Ensure all creditors are paid according to agreed terms. Provide necessary documentation to supplier upon request. Follow up and resolve all creditor queries.

Request supplier statement, prepare payment remittances and creditor reconciliation's. Attend to payment and claim queries from the supplier. Ensure all creditors in my portfolio is paid on time.

Majored in Software Development. Learned about software engineering, planning and implementing databases. Learned how to work in a group on several programming assignments. Learned about general IT related subject matter like networks, operating systems and algorithms.

Bachelor Degree in Accounting (Incomplete)

January 2009 - June 2013

University of Johannesburg

It seemed like the right move after advice from peers, guidance counsellors and parents. Turned out the glits and glam of debits and credits was not for me. Did not complete this degree, but I don't regret it. The financial knowledge I gained from this is priceless.

I showed some great promise in high school. Math nerd. I was the only scholar in my school to receive a distinctions for math, higher level.

My niche is .NET Desktop Applications, however I do have experience designing websites for friends, family and myself. I design and implement databases including rational and non-rational database management systems.
